In your world, does adding whipped cream to a dessert or hot chocolate / coffee mean pulling some Reddi Whip or Cool Whip out of the fridge?
I mean, you can. But it's really simple to make your own whipped cream instead and the difference in flavor is pretty amazing. Plus, it only takes two ingredients and about 2 minutes to make!

Here's my magic ingredients:
- heavy whipping cream
- powdered sugar
The easiest and quickest way I've found to make the whipped cream is to use a Magic Bullet blender. If you don't have one, a hand blender works fine but might take a little longer as well as requiring more cleanup. I LOVE my Magic Bullet!
In terms of amounts, I don't measure precisely at all. I put "about" 1/2 cup of whipping cream into the small cup of my Magic Bullet, and add a heaping tablespoon of powdered sugar. You can make a much bigger batch if you'd like, or add more sugar if you like it sweeter (or want to remove the need to add separate sweetener to your coffee!). You can also omit the vanilla extract (or use any extract, really) if you prefer.

This recipe probably has more calories than Reddi Whip or Cool Whip. But here's what it doesn't have:
COOL WHIP INGREDIENTS: Water, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (including coconut and palm oils), High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Skimmed Milk, Light Cream, less than 2% Sodium Caseinate (a milk derivative), Natural and Artificial Flavor, Xanthan and Guar Gums, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Monostearate, and Beta Carotene
REDDI WHIP INGREDIENTS: Nonfat Milk, Corn Syrup, Maltodextrin, Inulin (Chicory Extract), Cellulose, Mono- and Diglycerides Polysorbate 80, Artificial Flavors, Carrageenan.
So if you're a fan of whipped toppings, I hope you'll give it a try. It's a perfect topping for this Caramel Coffee recipe.
